When a student starts hair school or a professional first enters the industry, beauty shows are strongly encouraged for the great opportunity of networking, education, and the product knowledge they provide. The top show in beauty is called Premier Beauty.
During my first year in the industry I was able to experience Premier Orlando. The experience fanned the flame of my passion and excitement, it helped me understand the depth this industry offered.
Being able to bring MYTH Grooming to our very first beauty show at Premier San Antonio was a moment of my life I will cherish forever. The show was full of great people and had such a welcoming atmosphere. The interactions and people we met made us feel like we were supposed to be here and brought so much excitement to us. As nervous as I was, I had great people behind me to genuinely make it one of the greatest moments of my life. It was truly an amazing success.
I was given the opportunity to be a part of an after party on the first night of Premier. The after party ‘Tha Viibe’ was hosted by Ivis and his team and sponsored by awesome brands like ‘Danger Jones’ and ‘Shark Fin’. I had the opportunity to perform techniques and skills on stage with a few others along side me! The party was full of professionals who got to connect and make new friendships. It truly lived up to its intention and name. It was an absolute vibe.
I’m so grateful to be in an industry that has such a beautiful outlook on others. We, as professionals, come from all walks of life and through our own endurance and growth become beacons for others to travel toward and feel reborn. We are mainly focused on our clients and teams around us, but with shows like Premier Beauty, they create time and experiences that bring us all together. We get to learn and grow together, have our passion or excitement rekindled, make new friends, and find great opportunities that raise our industry up.
To be able to grow deeper into an industry that is so powerful and influential is an amazing opportunity I’m honored to have.
