It is understandable that as time passes, so do styles and trends. As the new year starts, we begin to see the shift in styling and grooming. Yes, the “new year, new me” is always seen and heard, but the change in style can be subtle and arrive without us even realizing. Best to plan and prepare so you can weather any storm!
More recently, men have had more desire and devotion to developing their look and their daily grooming routines. The light has turned on in men’s brains that longevity of looks can be accomplished through consistency of care. The main issue preventing habits forming, is the time it takes and lack of knowledge.
With our access to information, there are so many different ways of learning. If you show interest on any platform in this realm, the algorithm will bring you more of it.
Start with learning how to fix the issues you deal with more regularly. Look up exactly the issue you are facing. Trust us, you are not alone in your struggle. Most men deal with one, if not multiple, issues. So you have to accept that you are experiencing whatever problem you have and learn how to balance it.
For our extended forecast, we are seeing routines forming.
When you’ve learned what is necessary to counter act the problem, you need to develop a routine. We mean quite literally, a sequence of steps that you create and repeat everyday.
Here’s a couple of examples (just in case you need inspiration):
-Wake up, toilet, shower, brush teeth, dry hair, moisturize beard (HELIOS is a go to for us) get dressed, style hair….. etc. -
-Wake up, toilet, brush teeth, dampen hair (POSEIDON is great for this), style hair, get dressed…etc.-
Something like this (steps should include whatever balancing procedure is necessary) but every day. Every morning is the exact same. Does it sound like we want you to be a robot? Maybe a little.. but that’s not the case! Your new routine may take more time in the beginning, but like any habit, it becomes second nature. It can be done more efficiently as you do it more. The added benefit of this routine becoming second nature is that even in a rush, you won’t forget a necessary step to be best prepared for the day!
We see changes in fashion and haircuts regularly and that won’t stop. The changes we see coming this year, are individuals understanding their own style through developing a consistent process of self-love and care.
